We are not required to appoint a data protection officer (Art. 37 GDPR, § 38 BDSG). If you have questions about your data, just email us at the address above.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website runs on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Run), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, in a data centre in the EU (Finland). Google processes the data on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR.

Each time a page is loaded, the server automatically stores technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. We need this to deliver the website securely and reliably and to find errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

3. Cookies, consent and statistics

We don't set any statistics or advertising cookies without your consent. We save your choice from the cookie notice in your browser's local storage (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG) so the notice doesn't appear on every page.

Only if you click "Accept" do we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited). This shows us how many people visit the website, where they come from and whether our ads lead to bookings. Cookies are set and usage data (such as a shortened IP address, pages viewed, device type and approximate location) is sent to Google. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). The data is deleted after 14 months.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page and choose "Decline".

4. Contact form and email

When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your name, email address, phone number if given, and your message to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about an order, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages arrive in our mailbox at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, processor). We delete the data once your enquiry is dealt with, unless tax or commercial law requires us to keep it longer.

5. Online booking (Bikebook)

For bookings ("Book a service") we use the Bikebook booking system [BIKEBOOK: provider's company name and address]. The booking window is loaded from Bikebook's servers when you open our pages, which sends your IP address to Bikebook. When you book, Bikebook processes the details you enter (name, contact details, bike details, preferred date) on our behalf so we can carry out the job (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Bikebook is based in the United Kingdom, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision. We keep job data for as long as the job and statutory retention periods require (up to 10 years for invoices).

6. Google Maps and YouTube

On the home page and the contact page we show a Google Maps map, and on the home page a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Both are provided by Google Ireland Limited. When this content loads, your IP address is sent to Google; data may be transferred to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We use these services so you can find us easily and get to know our workshop (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Links to other websites

Our pages contain links, for example to our Google reviews. Only when you follow a link does the other provider's privacy notice apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)). Where we process data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Just email us at berlin@radone.de.

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority responsible for us: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

9. Providing data, automated decisions

You don't have to give us any data, but without contact details we can't answer an enquiry or book an appointment. We don't use automated decision-making or profiling under Art. 22 GDPR.
